Hopton Hall have run the July Month of Art Competition since 2023, where artists are invited to paint en plein air amongst the roses of the stunning Italianate grounds.
Many PDA members regularly participate and we are delighted to have been invited back by Hopton Hall for our second Art in the Rose Gardens, coinciding with their exhibitoin of work created during the month of July.
PDA members will be exhibiting in gazebos with the grounds and there are extensive walks to explore, along with a café and ample parking
The weekend culminates with the awards for best artworks in the Month of Art Competition, as voted for by visitors, and we were delighted when PDA member Lesley Linley was awarded first prize in 2025.
