Want That Art – our new marketing campaign launches

Today we proudly launch our new marketing campaign.

Developed by North-West based Wash Design, the concept for the campaign centres on five members of the group. Using powerful photography that combines members’ work with the stunning Peak District as a backdrop, each image reflects one of the many disciplines PDA work with.

We have a very strong, loyal following, but over the years our membership has evolved. We recognised the need to communicate that PDA offers so much more than what some younger people perceive as inaccessible art which is only appealing to an older generation.

As a thriving collective of fine artists, designer makers and contemporary artisans our members are based in and around the beautiful National Park. The surrounding landscape of the Peak District is a frequent source of inspiration. Members are selected for their individuality; many are award-winners with international recognition. Collectively, our group features a diverse range of artistic disciplines including jewellery; ceramics; photography; fine art; textiles; handcrafted furniture and more. Our art fairs continue to grow in public recognition and popularity. The award-winning Great Dome Art Fair is held in Buxton in the iconic Devonshire Dome, a relaxed and professional setting where members reveal their latest work.

A Peak District Artisan event has something for everyone – the first time buyer making that important first purchase, the returning buyer, and the discerning collector.

Through this campaign we aim to attract younger people to come along, explore and appreciate the work on display; to enjoy meeting and talking to the artists and perhaps become a Peak District Artisan collector too. We want to making art buying enjoyable, accessible and inspiring.
