Photographer Michela Griffith in the news

Derbyshire Life and The Derbyshire Magazine are writing about Michela in the current issues.

Michela writes about her features: “I’m fortunate in living where I do – in many respects. Sometimes this can be confusing – technically we are in Staffordshire, our postal address is Derbyshire, and our postcode is … er, Stockport!

“For many years I have been able to enjoy and depict some of the nicest, and at times, quietest landscapes in the Peak District National Park. And with my recent creative direction, depending on which part and sometimes which side of the River Dove I stand, I can be in Derbyshire or Staffordshire.

“So I’ve been doubly fortunate in that this has helped me find favour with more than one local county magazine. Following on from January’s Staffordshire Life feature, the latest – July – issue of Derbyshire Life includes a piece about me and my “Streamscapes” based on an interview by Mike Smith earlier this year. And not to be left out, and by no means least, there is also an article in the July issue of The Derbyshire Magazine. So I’m triply blessed and very grateful for the interest in what I’m doing, especially as this comes from following my heart and finding my own photographic path.”
