Four new members for PDA

PDA have selected four new members: artists Sue Prince & Janet Mayled; photographer Michela Griffith & jeweller Annette Petch

PDA are pleased to announce the selection of four new members.

Sue Prince from Ilam is an award winning contemporary narrative folk artist and map maker. She has a distinctive style where words are as important as images, a story teller communicating responses to life and events in a way that is centuries old. www.sueprinceartist.co.uk

Michela Griffith from Longnor is a photographer specialising in the landscapes of the Derbyshire countryside. She mixes film with digital, creating detailed studies through quiet observation. Recently she has produced more abstract landscapes, “streamscapes” that begin to blur the boundaries between photography and painting. www.longnorlandscapes.co.uk

Annette Petch from Sheffield makes intricate, delicate hand made jewellery from recycled silver and gold. She specialises in traditional techniques and has recently, with the aid of a grant from the Arts Council England has been researching and developing new work in Argentium silver. www.annettepetchjewellery.co.uk

Janet Mayled from Buxton is a fine artist producing paintings and textiles. She is inspired by pattern and colour and more recently industrial landscapes. www.janetmayled.com.
